Participating in the NDU Model United Nations (MUN) has been an enriching experience for me and my colleagues, including Lynn Fakhry, Lea Karsifi, Luna Mattar, Assile Yahfoufi, Sabine Dika, Zainab Jaafar, Aya Habib, Mira Dika, Adam Haidar, Yasmina Mcheik, Yara Constantine, and Alexandra Toufaily. MUN offers students the opportunity to role-play as delegates to the United Nations, engaging in diplomacy, international relations, and UN procedures.
This experience has allowed us to gain a broader perspective on global issues, develop diplomatic skills such as critical thinking and leadership qualities, and build confidence.
One of the highlights was the cultural bash on the first day of the final conference, where we not only learned about different cultures but also had a fantastic time socializing and connecting with fellow participants.
Overall, it was a great experience that left us with lasting memories and valuable skills for the future.
